Pasco County Fire Rescue began as a career fire department in 1974. At this time, we provide both fire protection and emergency medical services to a population of over 340,000 people and cover approximately 764 square miles out of 22 stations. We currently have approximately 370 paid professionals and over 180 volunteers. We are a cross-trained department in which all us are trained in EMS as well as firefighting.
