This company stands head and shoulders above others in our area. I have an excellent supervisor.
There will be lots of time to sleep in the grave. This company is not a motel, don't com to sleep, come to work. Consider others, this company works for others, you will wear a uniform. Therefore, others wont see an individual, they will see Allied Barton. Everyone wants the best return on his or her investment. Should you consider to join the team also consider to do the best you know how and develop and build positive attitude. You will be part of a company that grows, when the company grows you will grow.
They got great potential, and I can see myself going places once it's more stable where I am at and Allied gets more established in Missouri.
Apply for the jobs but only apply for the job if your gonna apply yourself to the job. Don't apply unless you plan to leave and not give it a chance. Oh and if your planning on applying for midnights..Stay awake!!! Other wise it's a great place to work and where are you gonna find a place to hire you with no experence and start you out at 8.00 an hour in Mo. None that's who...for real it's great!
Allied Barton is a joke. If you want a crappy job just to fuck around then this is for you. They'll screw you over in a heartbeat. What it boils down to is a bunch of losers with a wannabe cop mentality. I worked for them for 10 months and got fired for sleeping. My working conditions were deplorable, there were health issues involving electromagnetic radiation. I say this company is a bunch of crooks, if you want to be a cop then go to police academy, but if you want to be a stooge in a starched shirt then apply to Allied Barton right away. This job is a uniform, they just need a warm body to fill it and pay the least amount possible. You will work with a bunch of stupid jerks. You might think it's funny I got fired for sleeping on the job, and decide to ignore my testimony based on this. But I warn you, go somewhere else where you don't have to wear a uniform to get paid a shitty wage. How am I supposed to support a family on 10.00 an hour? Fuck that. On the other hand, if you want an easy job where you can sleep, then get a midnight shift somewhere in an office building, that's what I did but got ratted on by some conscientious objector. I mean really, who gives a fuck?
Get a job at McDonald's
This is an amazing company to work for, my boss is ALWAYS available to help with anything I might have questions about. It has great pay with all the overtime I want. Don't listen to the lazy whiners on this site who gave bad reviews, it is a great company to work for.
Because their training process is outstanding. Their sights are recommendable.
Have your resume prepared, go to this agency prepared and ready to work.
I have been with ABSS since 2004... and have moved up so far and continue to learn and grow within the compant every day. This is by far the best company I have every worked for and would never think about going else where. I am sadden by some of the negitive comments about ABSS.... This company works very hard to take care of ALL there employess!
I have worked with AlliedBarton for a while and it is by far the best company I have ever worked for. I'm not saying that it's this good everywhere, but in my area of the country it seems to be decent. The pay is good, they promote from within, the training is excellent, and they care about their employees more than I've ever seen anywhere else. It also seems like if you show up, obey orders, and act professional they will give you a promotion and/or a raise within your first year if possible. I give AlliedBarton a thumbs up!
Show up to your interview neatly dressed and act interested in the job with a positive attitude and it should be a walk in the park!
I feel with the old boss in the office it wasnt a great experience but there is a new boss currently.
Yes I would
Decent pay/low morale/bad ledership
great job if you are in college or going to a night time police academy. Its seems like a legit security agency but leadersip is very poor as well as training.
Barton was a great company Allied was a horrible company and then they merge now it is maybe the worse company to work for. The King of Prussia executive team could care less about their customers and their employees it is all about the money with them... don't walk away RUN from them!
advancement is a joke...much like the benefits. who wants to pay $175 for "broken leg insurance"...and it's all out of pocket. no sick days...
get the job for the money, but don't stop looking for a better job
I've worked for different contract security companies and I've worked for this company in three different districts. Some districts are better ran than others - that is a hit and miss. There are opportunities for advancement for those who show initiative, come to work on time, do their jobs responsibily, etc., etc.
Do research before you walking in the office door. If you speak, read and write English, can be to work on time and in the proper uniform, maintain a postive and professional appearance and attitude, you'll have very few problems. Sometimes people do have mistakes in their paychecks. Bring the problem to the attention of the manager immediately.
the company do not back its office, poor managment
Please do no waiste your time
Allied Barton does not pay attention to their sites, and in doing so the workers feel that they can slack off and not proform their duties.
Allied Barton is like any other contract security company...so be prepared to work hard and long hours with no feel benefit
They tell you so many lie that anyone falls for it
think twice and explore it first
They don't respect there employees
No none
They are very shady and untrustworthy but it pays the bills till i can take my test and hopefully get into the Police Department
I have been working for Allied Barton since December 2nd and it has been a blast. The pay is good and i all around love my job as a Security Officer.
The pay is better than what used to get. Some of the people I work with are cool. The company has no sick time if you are sick. The benefits are ok. There is hardly any advancement.
Get an education. Be ALERT at all times. Dress professionally. Be willing and ready to work overtime. Be on time.
It's just in my opinion. The only other good thing is the amount of overtime you can have. Like about 20 to 40 hours over time a week.
It's a good job for lazy people who want to sit around or stand around not doing that much of anything and getting paid for it.
