About Me:
I've been at the SO just over 15 years. I started as a reserve/part-time deputy, worked corrections for 2 1/2 years, patrol for 8 years and CID for over 4 years. I'm currently assigned to the Violent Crimes Unit. I was an FTO for 7 years and a member of the Honor Guard for 4. I am searching for a new dog to train for cadaver work since my last one didn't make the grade. I enjoy reading and history. I find myself getting more involved in politics each year. I'm also an aviation buff. I'm a member of the Louisiana Homicide Investigators Association, The Louisiana Sheriff's Association, The Louisiana Sheriff's Association Human Trafficking Task Force and the Aircraft Owner's and Pilot's Association. I don't tribute anyone until I get to know them, so don't ask.

    I am not attending this particular conference but have you seen the conference planned from Concerns of Police Survivors scheduled for January 5, 6 and 7th in Humble, TX Traumas in Law Enforcement? This is a great conference that I think you would get great information and training from. It is free to attend and registration is available at www.nationalcops.org if not now soon.
