About Me:: I HAVE BEEN IN LAW ENFORCEMENT FOR TWENTY FIVE YEARS AND STILL WAITING FOR THE BURNOUT. I HAVE ALSO VOLUNTEERED FOR THE FLORESVILLE EMS FOR APPROXIMATELY 10 YEARS. I WORK PART TIME AT WILSON COUNTY SO, AND GET MY FIRE/EMS/POLICE FIX EACH MONTH. I LEARNED TO LEAVE ALL AT WORK AND GO HOME AND ENJOY WHAT I HAVE...I AM SOMEWHAT EDUCATED WITH SOME COLLEGE, LOTS OF IN-SERVICE AND SELF INTEREST STUDIES. I LOVE LITTLE PEOPLE AND ANIMALS MORE THAN BIG PEOPLE, A MINOR PERK OF THE JOB. I HATE TO TALK ON THE PHONE, ANOTHER PERK, AND I AM THE PERSON OF 2 CATS AND 2 DOGS. I HAVE AN ACTIVE 2 YEAR OLD GRAND DAUGHTER WHO LOVES THE WORD "NO" AND A DAUGHTER WHO IS ALSO IN COMMUNICATIONS AT A SCHOOL DISTRICT POLICE DEPARTMENT. ONE OF MY FAVORITE LITTLE THINGS TO DO ON THE RADIO IS ATTEMPT TO PRONOUNCE ALL THE STRANGE/FOREIGN NAMES THAT THE TROOPERS LIKE TO RUN. I SAY THEM AS IF I KNOW EXACTLY HOW THEY SOUND AND DON'T MISS A BEAT. SOMETIMES I REQUEST PRONUNCIATION FROM THE TROOPER...HEHE I THINK THAT WHILE ALL IS EXTREMELY SERIOUS IN THIS BUSINESS, YOU HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO LAUGH AND HAVE FUN AT TIMES. BETTER, IF YOU CAN LAUGH AT YOUR SELF. I HOPE TO MEET AND GREET DIFFERENT FOLKS HERE AND I LOOK FORWARD TO CHECKING THIS SITE OUT.
