About Me:: I am a Husband (22 years, on my birthday, May 2,to my beautiful wife, Angie {Awesome MOM & Home health R.N}..She's the best there is!) and Father of 6 ( 5 still in the house with me). I am a Detective. I work in the Intelligence/Sex Offender Unit (We do crime scene too!). I love working for the Sheriff (He is a good one too!) and having the parish (county) wide jurisdiction. When I ain't on the job, I'm at my house, or with my family doing something. I am Roman Catholic and love my Priest and my Church. I love O.D.M.P. and what they do for our fallen brothers and sisters. I'm a former U.S. Air Force member (1982- 1984) and I served in a construction squadron (443 CES , Altus AFB Oklahoma; I was no Bob Villa but I did OK, I guess, this wasn't to be my life's work anyway!), left with an honorable discharge in 1984. I've been a correctional officer both parish (county) level and at the state DOC level(on both Prison tactical and cell extraction teams, had my EMT-B and was the medic), I then left corrections and was a paramedic for 13 years with different ambulance companies, and then ended my time as a medic with a public service EMS, sold life insurance for a couple of years (with the Knight's of Columbus). Now I work for the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office and this where I am making my career. Our county seat is in Opelousas, Louisiana. I was a patrolman, an SRO for a year, at the local high school,was back on patrol, and now I was promoted ( on 3-3-08,My daughter's 17th birthday) from patrol, to Detectives,in the Intelligence/Sex Offender Unit( We do Crime Scene too!) and I really love going to work everyday.I've got a great boss and he is just the best. Hobbies:: Football, Baseball, Shooting, Martial Arts, Fishing, Studying Defensive tactics, Investigations, sex offenders, Serial killers, and what makes them tick.
Favorite Movies:: Anything with Cops in it; with them portrayed properly! I can't stand when the cops have to be "on the take" , or dirty in some other way,or have to be stupid. I can't stand stuff that spoofs us. That's anoying! We desreve better in movies and televisi
Favorite TV Shows:: THE FIRST 48!!! , Criminal Minds,CSI MIAMI,True Crime stories, mysteries, History,Cops, Law and Order SVU, NCIS, America's most wanted, etc
