About Me:: I am a Corporal on the streets and I supervise 3 other Deputies. I am a very proud father of (2 girls and 1 boy). I am also married to a wonderful wife and she is truly my partner in life and I would be completely lost with out her!!!! I also have 2 step children and they are great!! My stepson plays baseball and is awesome in his position and somewhat reminds me of myself when I was younger. I am a very big New York Yankees fan!!! and I love going to their games and if they are on TV then I have to watch them!!I have always wanted to be a cop for as long as I can remember and now I’m living a dream everyday. I’m also a K-9 handler and work on of the best K-9 partners there is. My partner’s name is “King” and he is an awesome partner to have and he has saved my life more than once. “King” is a male German Sheppard and he is sable in color. Working the streets is not always fun but sometimes can be very tough and its good to have a partner that you can trust. I’m so glad I have him because I’m not sure some people would have been able to take the pressure of those situations. I am also a member of the Western Star #2 Masonic lodge in Little Rock, AR. I haven’t been as active lately within the lodge as I would like to because I have recently started my own business and it takes up a lot of my own time. I got lucky early within my career to be able to become a K-9 handler and the opportunity to work a Patrol dog and to meet and make a lot of contacts all over the world and it has helped me throughout my career as well as in starting my business. My business goes right along with my passion and that is training police canines in all aspects of Narcotics and Patrol Work as well as teaching Obedience Training to the public. I am the Owner/Instructor of Arkansas Elite K-9 Services. I am the canine handler and the canine supervisor for the Saline County Sheriff's Department. I have received extensive training in all aspects of Obedience, Patrol and Narcotic Detector Dog training from some of the most recognized trainers in the United States and Europe. I am a Certifying Official for the National Narcotic Detector Dog Association. I’m able to certify canine handler teams in all areas dealing with Police Service Dogs and Narcotic Detector Dogs. I was recognized twice for "Deputy of the Month" and Deputy of the Year for 2004. I have completed courses in areas such as: High Risk Traffic Stops & Drug Interdiction, Collinsville, Illinois. I have been in Law Enforcement since 2000. I have attended a variety of Schools and Seminars throughout the United States in training areas such as: Narcotic Detector Dogs, Tracking, Obedience, Patrol Dogs,K-9 selection testing, Narcotic imprinting and training, Assisting Instructors/ Handlers with of all aspects of our Police Patrol and Narcotic Detector Dogs and Certification Standards. My other duties include submitting all classes to Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards & Training, providing instruction on Case Law, Courtroom Testimony and Criminal and Highway Interdiction also Assisting with introducing Vehicle and Structural search patterns, Obedience training for Patrol and Narcotic Detector dogs, Tracking, Building search and Criminal apprehension training for Patrol dog training, providing instruction on Case Law, Courtroom Testimony, K-9 handler problem solving and Certification Standards, High Risk Criminal and Drug Interdiction. -9 “King” and I have been awarded: 1st place 2004 Arkansas Regional Narcotic Competition, 1st place 2004 & 2005 A.B.N.A. Patrol Dog National Championship 3rd place 2005 N.N.D.D.A. Patrol Dog Competition, 1st place (Regional Champion) N.N.D.D.A. Narcotic Dog Championship, 1st place 2005 Southern States’ Man Hunt Narcotic Championship, 3rd place 2005 (Regional Champion) N.N.D.D.A. Patrol Dog Competition, 12th place 2005 N.N.D.D.A.
