About Me:
I was active in law enforcement from the mid 70's until 1994. I started out as a dispatcher and my career ended as the Asst. Chief at a small town due to political crap. I miss law enforcement so much and being able to work with my fellow officers. When I made a career change after the small town fiasco I found a job I enjoy and pays much better. So now I really can not afford to go back to the LE field. That is a sad thing to have to say. My son is an active LEO now. I let him make the decision to do so. He was able to ride along with me over the years so he had exposure to what goes on. I have 2 nephews who are active LEO's too. One in my hometown and the other at an agency in Alabama. The nephew in Alabama rode along with me and he presented me with a plaque thanking me for the "Inspiration" to get into LE. He has his department patch and a set of his Sgt stripes on it. My son entering the LE Field and this gift mean more to me than any award or recognition I have ever received. I am married to a wonderful lady who on December of 2008 will have put up with me for 25 years. God knows how she has made it and not lost her mind. Since her dad was cop, I think that helped!! We enjoy camping, cooking out, watching good movies, and just spending time with each other.
