About Me:: I am a very outgoing person, I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things (a few that are top of the list: hunting, and shooting and cars). I enjoy shopping when I have money to spend (shoes and dresses are my weakness). I love to bake and cook meals I haven't tried before, but one of my all time favorites is cheesecake :) I have recently started volunteering as a firefighter! I am excited, it should keep my nights pretty busy ;)

My dream vacation (out of the country) would be Scotland, to stay at a B&B or possibly a farm there. Other than that I am pretty simple and enjoy a cabin in the mountains away from everyone else. I would also like to visit Wyoming and Colorado, and go for a week long trail-ride, sleeping out under the stars (for those of you that don't know... that's horses!) I like Cherry JollyRanchers and Ice Cream

I have the utmost respect for officers, fireman, and paramedics. They are my heroes, especially Police officers :). Derek (my best friend) had wanted to be an officer since he was little, and in December 2007 he graduated from POST. I admire and respect him for the passion he has for his job and therefore do everything I can to support him, which includes being as educated and active in the Law Enforcement community as possible. I have no direct connection to LE except for him and another of my close friends Matt who also wants to be Police Officer. It helps to know what the heck they are talking about when they start rambling off 10-codes and status and signals. And sometimes, I am proud to say, I actually know what they are saying! I respect LEOs. I want all you guys to know that there are people who care and understand how much effort, and sweat actually go into this job and how much you sacrifice personally to be the best at what you do. Just a "Thank You" will never be enough.

Hey Diana! Glad to have you as a new friend!! :) I dono what county they will put me in yet. I live in the eastern part of jefferson, so I am hoping to be around bham, anniston / oxford or maybe even Gadsden. All of those would be close to home. Things are good but busy. I am hoping to get a vacation in shortly and go down to the ocean. I was there yesterday for the day and it was cool; sun, surf and the beach. Throw in a cold one and its even better.
