About Me:: I'm a 25 Year Veteran of the New York State Police and hold the rank of Zone Sergeant. I am currently assigned as the Detail Supervisor of the Operation Impact Team in Rochester New York. This team of hard working and dedicated State Troopers work in high crime areas in the City of Rochester. This team has been responsible for seizing large sums of drugs and guns attributed to the large volumes of homicides and serious assaults in the City of Rochester.

Last night Trooper Thomas (agh burr) Walton tried to stop a vehicle for speeding in the city. The suspect vehicle refused to stop and a pursuit was commenced. The vehicle had just been stolen and was occupied by two males. The vehicle then turned down a deadend street (now this is when it got funny). The two rocket scientist jumped a fence and into the parking lot of the Rochester Police Department as the night shift was breaking roll call. My impact Troopers watched as the perps ran into over 11 RPD Officers and were taken into custody. Oops wrong fence!!!

Took some time for myself last night and went to see the new James Bond movie ....Wow!!!
Lots of car chases and lots of action....One question though....Who does the paperwork on those??? LOL....Happy Thanksgiving to my Law Enforcement Family.....

Okay a busy night for the Rochester Impact Team in the City of Rochester.

Troopers Eric Dietl & Jason Klewicki were on patrol in the inner City of Rochester when they were advised by Trooper Oliver Gorevski(who had the Plate Reader) that a vehicle was approaching them with a suspended registration. Troopers Dietl & Klewicki quickley spotted the car and attempted to stop it. Unknown to the Troopers, this vehicle had just left a night club in the downtown area and had just been involved in shooting incident. The vehice refused to stop and the pursuit began. The vehicle drove right to his residence a few blocks away and pulled into his driveway(I guess he felt if he got home we would just go away). By this time our brothers from the Rochester Police Department were there and assisted my Troopers. After several verbal commands to exit the vehicle and the suspect refusing to exit, Trooper Dietl broke the driverside window with his ASP and physcially extracted the operator from his vehicle. While doing so, Trooper Dietl sprained his right knee but with the help of his partner and fellow brother in blue, the sh&^head was taken into custody. I took Trooper Dietl to the hospital and he was treated and released and diagnosed with a sprained knee.(he is one tough SOB). Sh*thead was charged with Assault 2nd - DWI - DWAI Drugs - Crim Poss Marih 5th - Resisting Arrest ECT.....

A great job done by all involved and the last words from the Sh&thead was, "I think I really F*&ked up....

My response..."It should have been you in the Emergency Room"!!

Cold night in the Inner City of Rochester tonight.....My guys were complaining of the lack of people out tonight. My advise to them.....Careful what you wish for....LOL....The question of the night is....Sarge, can I have Thanksgiving Day off...Answer...AhhhhhBurrrrrr......No!!

A message to the Impact Team:

This year was a pilot year for the New York State Police Impact Team in Rochester N.Y. Our Penal Law & V&T numbers aren't out yet but I am certain that they are quite impressive. I realize that our schedules have simply been awful but your efforts and tireless commitment to the team has made you and outstanding group of Troopers. I personally want to take this time to thank each and every one of you for the fine job you have done for me and the rest of your supervisors. After 25yrs of service to this agency I still find myself proud to work along side such outstanding young and positive Troopers. I realize that this is not said much on our job but, "Thanks for all you do"
