About Me:: originally from Fort Wayne, IN (family still lives there...brother is a police officer there, swat/vice.....father is a retired deputy chief from there but is currently police chief in Holbrook, AZ) after high school i received a scholorship to play D1 volleyball at Middle Tenn. State Univ. Finished my 4 years of eligibility there and my Bach. degree in C.J. Joined the Army Reserve in 2003 and became an M.P. Was deployed to Afghanistan from 2004-2005, then came back and got on with Murfreesboro Police in April of 2006. I am currently deployed to Camp Bucca in Iraq until Feb. of 2009 (maybe a little longer if we get extended...which is always a possibility).......i miss work out on the street terribly!!!! Can't wait to come back home and get back at it :)
Hobbies:: I love most any type of sport...but am a little partial toward volleyball...i love to work out...i like to do anything outdoors and physically challenging....oh, and did i mention that i am VERY competetive????!! LOL
Favorite Movies:: Grease (i know, i can't help it), Shawshank, G.I. Jane, Varsity Blues, The Cure, Seven, The Negotiatior, Flashdance...there are way too many movies that i like! I also like horror/suspense >:)
Favorite TV Shows:: Hell's Kitchen, So You Think You Can Dance, Biggest Loser...i am so hooked on reality tv its not even funny...sorta sad...LOL I also like Heroes, Reno 911, Law and Order, First 48...court TV...i just realized how much tv i really watch...thank god 4 DVR!
Favorite Music:: fav. band of all time: Fleetwood Mac.....i like all genres really...rock, alternative, some rap, r&b, folk, country, oldies, i could go on and on..... :)

The Final Inspection

The warrior stood and faced God,
Which will always come to pass,
He hoped his shoes were shining,
Just as brightly as his brass.

“Step forward now, old warrior,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To my church have you been true?”

The warrior squared his shoulders and
Said, “No, Lord, I guess I ain’t,
‘Cause those of us who carry guns
Can’t always be saint.

“I’ve had to work most Sundays,
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I’ve been violent,
‘Cause the world is awfully rough.

“But, I never took a penny
That wasn’t mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,

“And I never passed a cry for help,
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I’ve wept unmanly tears.

“I know I don’t deserve a place
Among the people here,
They never wanted me around

Thanks for the add Abby, I never see or hear from anybody from our class, It was good to see someone that I went to school with on here. Stay safe while you are over there in the sandbox, I have been up and down some of the same dusty roads and know what it's like to be away from home.
