About Me:
I have twenty-two years in military and federal law enforcement as a criminal investigator in a variety of specialties and leadership roles. My teaching method – perhaps best described as “edutainment” – uses a variety of media to include social networking websites and other contemporary communications formats. I have trained and supervised the training of several thousand senior military, mid-level managers, soldiers, and civilians on legal and police-related topics. In addition to training while in the military and, since 1997, for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center’s STAR Program, I have taught at the college level since 1990 – teaching criminal justice, homeland security, and organizational leadership courses, both in the traditional classroom and online.
