About Me:
Born and raised in MO. Attended college in Utah where I got a BS degree in Forest Management. I enjoyed working for the US Forest Service in Idaho, Wyoming and Montana as a forest technician and crew leader. Got laid off by the USFS in 1980 and went into data processing, working in that field for over 20 years mostly as an applications programmer. I went through weekend police academy in San Antonio at SA Community College and graduated at the age of 46. Been full-time Deputy since August of 2005 after reserving for 6 years. My wife and I also serve as departmental Chaplains, and Chaplains for the County EMS as well as the Central Texas Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors. In August 2008 we added the Castell VFD to our list of Chaplain's duties.
