About Me:
I have worked for the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office in the patrol division since March 2002. Before that I worked for the Jackson Police Department in Jackson, Mississippi and was hired there in September of 1999. I also spent some time in the US Army and am a combat veteran. I have been a member of the RCSO "F.A.S.T." (aka S.W.A.T.) team since March 2003 and was promoted to corporal/fto in 2004. The RCSO is an excellent department and I have really enjoyed working there. Unless God directs me somewhere else, I plan on retiring at this department. I'm a pretty normal guy outside of work and most people don't recognize me out of uniform. I love sports. I love working out and staying active to keep myself in shape because my life and other people's lives depend on that. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and can never wait until the next big cookout. I'm madly in love with a beautiful woman that loves me back just as much. We bought a house together and I'm planning on putting a ring on her pretty little finger soon. (Police link member r6chica22 for all you police on here that wish you could have her but never will because she is mine - eat your hearts out! LOL!!) I'm pretty laid back and easy to talk to so if you have any questions at all feel free to ask.

    You may be very interested in a group that I am VP of, on Policelink, it is called Policevets, it is designed to help all law enforcement professionals through their careers...the feelings and issues they may or will go through. It is especially designed to assist those who retired and or are disabled and retired. We know how difficult the transition from working law enforcement back to civilian, after so many years can be looked forward to as a retirement, yet turn into a very difficult transition, there also may be other issues or events that we will assist with concerning the retired /retired and disabled lw enforcement professional. We also, having worked as either the first or last line of defense for the country are veterans ourselves. Some have exchanged fire in a battle of life and death on the American soil. I was extremely involved in 9/11 and felt for the first few days that we were in a war on the front lines, and, in fact we were...You may enjoy hust looking at the site or participating in it, either way, it is a benefit to all in our field.
