About Me:: I'm the product of an LEO father, who is still my hero today, with an extended "family" consisting of many LE professionals that I feel blessed to be able to call my friends & family. I'm finally on my way to becoming one (after 27 yrs of faithful viewership of over 10 cop shows & numerous "war stories" from Dad)...hopefully w/in the next year. It's always "hurry up & wait" though. I'm truly dedicated to this way of life, as I'm sure most sworn officers are. My heart aches every time I hear about or see a funeral procession of one that made the ultimate sacrifice. I believe they are true heroes. On a lighter note, I'm a huge football fan, love chili dogs & beer, don't mind getting dirty, work on my own car, and absolutely love the smell of automotive grease. Obviously, I love the adrenaline, hot calls, lights, & sirens, stupid excuses & yes, the paperwork of this profession. Otherwise I wouldn't already be waist-deep in it! Oh, yeah...almost forgot-I greatly enjoy getting dressed up in formal gowns, heels & fancy jewelry for Mardi Gras balls!
Hobbies:: Football, Shooting, enjoying the outdoors; my niece & nephew; vegging out in front of court tv for hours on end, of course!
Favorite Movies:: Donnie Brasco; Walking Tall; Summer of Sam; 3:10 to Yuma; Crash; Alive; Full Metal Jacket; Platoon; Reno 911 the movie; Hot Fuzz
Favorite TV Shows:: Magnum, P.I.; Miami Vice; Simon & Simon; Columbo; House; COPS; Forensic Files; North Mission Road; basically everything on nite-time CourtTV/TruTV; Hill Street Blues; St. Elsewhere
Favorite Music:: most anything, but love the alt./rock-especially working the night shift(1800-0600)
