Hi! My name is Tony Lacks. I have been a law enforcement officer in Miami-Dade County since 1968. Over the past 40 years I have served with 5 police departments in South Florida. I have served in every capacity of law enforcement, from Patrol to Motors, Division Commander to the Chief's Office. I started the School Resource Officer program in South Miami and the Chaplaincy program at Opa-locka. I am married and have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. I'm doing what I love and won't be leaving until I can't do it anymore or I no longer look forward to going to work. Keep it between the ditches and the shiny side up!
