About Me:
I have a wonderful wife and 4 great kids (3 boys 11, 3, 2 and 1 girl 10). I moved to Georgia from Las Vegas, NV in May of 2006 to become a Deputy Sheriff (and my wife is from Georgia as well). The last thing I wanted was to work with kids. God works in mysterious ways, because in June of 2006, I ended up getting hired with the State of Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice as a Juvenile Correctional Officer. March 2007, I became a Sergeant and absolutely love (must be crazy) working with juvenile offenders. It is totally different than working in adult prisons, need more patience and compassion in this industry. A real eye opener for me as my career grows. Before that I worked in Federal Community Corrections (Contracted) with a private company. I also worked private security where I obtained the position of General Manager several times. I spent 4.5 years in the car business. That was fun, lot of stress and politics. Hey, just like Law Enforcement. Maybe why I stay in it. The career I enjoyed the most was the US Marine Corps where I spent 10 years. Unfortunately, couldn't retire because of cutbacks after Desert Storm. Well, that pretty much raps up the last 25 years of my life.

    Thanks for the invite. People look at me like I'm crazy because I love my job, but more so because I love working with the JVs.
