    The rating MAA was formed in 73 I think, shortly before my enlistment was up anyway. I asked about changing my rating but they said no way because of what I was doing. I really wanted to get into the police aspect even way back then. Heck, I may have re-enlisted again if they had let me change. Fortunately it was not to be and I quickly ended up as a civilian LEO.
