Yes, They now have the LED Maglite, but to all of us that have been on the job for some time, how many times has that orignal 3 cell Mag save you? perfect to place between your seat and door. and have at anytime.
I carry this flashlight as a back up, and have used it since 1977. Great light. Also have one on my pov.
I used this when I was on the rescue truck and keep one in my POV where I can get to it if I need it. It's great all around tool.
I've had one of these for over 20 years...
I have carried this light for several years now. Two 20 + feet drops and knee later it still works wonders. I will always recommend this light.
I have used this product for many years and it has lasted through some rough times.
Say what you will about how stupid it is not to have some souped-up $200 flashlight on patrol, this light is bright, durable, economical, and SUBSTANTIAL. I believe there have been times that I have preempted escalation of a situation simply because I had a big, heavy, metal object in my hand. My department rotates through ten beats. I carry this light on foot patrols which put me outside most of the night
Durable and top of the line quality product. Highly Recommended!
these are ok, but the 5 cells are best
Went from a 5 cell to one of these. Its durable, bright, and affordable. I like how rugged Maglite products are. Dropped mine down a short flight of concrete stairs. Got a few scratches on it, and the batteries had to be replaced, but the lens and bulbs weren't affected. Good item for the price.
Durable. Bright. Batteries last forever in mine
