Great only for a short time. If you use your flash light a lot throughout your tour than bring along your car charger.

Old Faithful... Gets the job done and is not too expensive... a great improvised weapon if needed.

Batteries are too expensive. Buy a rechargable and be cost effective

Try an Streamlight Ultra Stinger with 75,000 Candlelight Power..... Fully rechargable and doesn't have memory loss. Comes with an AC/DC adaptor and is EXTREMELY bright and trusty. The only thing is that it doesn't have the weight that a mag does so... in extrememe circumstances may not make the best impact weapon (Dept. policies and use of force scales varying). Check it out if you are unhappy with your mag, great for Traffic Stops and any run including checking buildings/houses/warehouses - From a consistent and trustworthy Nightwatch Officer

This flashlight is an old reliable. It is a bit heavier to carry with the two D-cell batteries but works great. The LED is a great improvement over the old standard bulb.

I use this as a back up when my primary Streamlight Scorpion needs batteries. This is a good flashlight, just dont like the bulkiness.

I keep one in my personal truck. Less worry about charging requirements than with a rechargable light. Good for all around use, but I wouldn't use it on duty Not bright enough.

OK light, but heavy compared to the new rechargables. Works great for back up in a duty bag, but not to carry.
