I own all the lites- 2,3,and 4D-cell. They are outstanding, but the size can be a problem at times.
I love the 3 D-Cell, it's just about right when it comes to size, battery life and self-defense.
I had one for a long time and it has taken some serious abuse and has always worked. No issues at all
This light holds a great charge and it lite wieght for me I am very happy to have this light and i would tell everyone they should use this and it is very bright and I love it
This make a good weapon in a pinch also. I can contest to that ! Thank you MAGLITE, I've used this light for 19 years!
On Duty Flashlight
Good flashlight. Great for backup weapon, could be a little brighter though. All around good working tool.
Great flashlight on or off duty.
Runs down a little fast, but can be used as more than a light!
I like this bad boy for use in my car, if I ever need to use it as a blunt object it works well too.
I keep one in my car and use it too many times to count. Best flash light around.
True America success story.. owner was a reserve LASD deputy.. built an empire.. AMERICAN MADE...
I love it.. I own a bunch.. I sent one back with exploded batteries and they sent me a new one for free even though it was my fault... just for writing them a nice letter...
that... is customer service beyond....
Ive done everything with these... from hammering stuff to hammering people...
great product made better by LED technology
I agree w/ "bluestar" when I was in uniform I always carried the big light as well as a small one. Now that I'm in plain clothes I use the Streamlight Scorpion and Stingers. The original Mag-lights are by far the best.
Have owned one for quite some time. LOVE it. Just don't use rechargeable Nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries as the second they start to lose a little juice, they dim to about half the ordinary lumens INSTANTLY. This proves to be an incovenience when lighting is critical.
On and off duty I have always carried one of these. The 3 cell seems to be the perfect size for me. 4 cells are just too much to be slapping against my thigh in a chase. (ouch)
As they say.. " It shows them the light, and leaves a good impression" *chuckles*
I also keep one in the car, and in the house just in case.
They have all been dropped, and taken beatings.. but still work after years. Love the neoprene covers too. Nothing worse then touching one of these in cold weather then trying to write a report with cold hands..
Barasha
An all time fav. Good on or off duty. Long lasting, bright light & it comes in handy for self defense as well.
Good light...............
I really like this flashlight. I recieved it as a gift from my husband. It has a really bright light. Just a little tricky to adjust the beam just the way you want it. But otherwise a great flashlight.
This lite is very dependable.
it's ok!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I wish I had an led mag light. But I am not arguing with a regular one either.
It's a nice flashlight, I used it for years both while on duty and while off.
It doesn't get much better than these flashlights. Even though I carry a small light on my belt, this one is always my first choice. Best of all, it doubles as an impact weapon in a pinch!
Very bright and it comes in all sizes.
Pretty good all purpose flashlight. I do use my mini-mag more offten though
My Maglite is 7 years old. Still works like new. Great light.
tried and true tool of almost all police officers. Doubles as a night stick in a flash. No pun intended.
I have 3.
great flashlight, little heavy
I love this light. It can take a beating and still light up what you want to see.
Very durable, lasts for a long time.
The 3-cell is optimum . Longevity, durability, and makes a great self-defense weapon as a last resort! I'm a sucker for the red one, though.
police gadget
Fits well center crown of the forehead!!!! haha
This is a great tool for both on duty and off duty applications. On duty it serves to provide maximum lighting to illuminate dark areas or distract a suspect by shining in their face. The back end serves as a great knocking device on any style door, saving your knuckles from damage and providing a nice loud attention getting thud. Auto glass does not stand up well when the mag is applied correctly allowing access to vehicles and sometimes buildings when justified circumstances present themselves. The light is easily stored in the small of the back for nearly concealed carry, but easily retrieved for use as a striking tool or arm bar assist. Just remember that when striking, the same rules would apply as any other striking tool such as an expandable baton, pr24 or other authorized device.
I've owned one for years and I've never had a problem with it.
Great product as long as you don't sit it to close to the seat and forget about it being on. Great light-but (fire hazard).!!!!
Great flashlight!
I've had 4 and 5 cell mag lights. great product!
Nice if baton is not available.
good light that can take a severe punishment
I love my Maglight
On oldie, but a goodie. Still a mainstay in my opinion.
