Excellent. Should be a mandatory part of every officer's belt. Even those on day shift. They come in handy when plunged into darkness such as in warehouse building searches during open door or alarm calls.

I've had mine for 10 years and have only replaced the battery once. The switch, rubber caps, bulbs, etc... are easy and cheap to replace.

Our department kept running out of flash lights for major events when everyone worked. The decided to provide us with this light. I use it as primary with no hesitation and even purchased one for home. They do make an upgrade kit for it to make it 5X brighter. INVEST>>>it is worth it. The cheapest place is thefirestore.com great price to upgrade there!!!

A little expensive to buy, but worth the money in whay you save in batteries. I have dropped mine several tiems on the pavement durring traffic stops, but it still hasn't failed me after 4 years.

I prefer a larger, brighter light when I have time to get it out of the car, but this is a great backup light that is always on my belt for emergencies.
