Description:

Model # 44H100BK-R: Level 3 retention holsters have long been the standard for law enforcement duty use. The problem has been that many holsters that provide this level of protection are clumsy to operate and can prevent the officer from drawing his/her weapon rapidly under stress. The Level 3 SERPA Auto Lock holster uses your natural drawing motion to release the weapon. No unnatural motions or complicated sequences to remember, just grab and draw!SERPA Auto Lock system provides a quick, natural draw with immediate security upon re-holstering to increase officer safety.Injection molded carbon fiber composite construction provides incredible strength.Extremely lightweight. No snaps or hoods to accidentally open. Weapon stays secured until you decide to draw.Ease of training, same drawing technique for undercover, tactical and duty operations.

After usingthe Safariland 070 level holster for the past 8 years, I recently purcahsed the Blackhawk SERPA level 3 holster for my Glock 22. The holster is OUTSTANDING! I wish it had been developed sooner. The level of confidence is instantaneous, the learning curve to carry is extremely fast because of the natural draw. It also accomodates my Ameri-GLO ghost ring sights that are installed on my Glock. They also have a version to accommodate the tactical lights.

Our dept. just went to this holster, not bad. I would like to see them redisign the top keep, open faster, but all and all not bad.

I have used this with a Glock 17, and it is amazing. At first i was concerned that the third level (the top lock) would slow down the draw, but it didn't at all. Nothing i did could get the pistol out of this holster, we took an older Glock 17 that already had several issues with it (he pretty much gets payed to put guns through torture tests) and put it into the holster (unloaded of course) and threw it off of the second story of my house onto the concrete sidewalk, it bounced, but the Glock never came out of its resting place. This is a great duty holster, your gun will stay in place, other people cant get your gun from you (it happens), and its fast! Worth every penny.

Good duty holster, I like the speed I can draw the firearm at. Only thing I don't like is that it doesn't bolt down very well on your outer belt. I find it tilting back a bit from when I sit in the car and the holster gets pushed up on the front a bit.

This is well thought out. It is simple to use for a level 3 holster. All of the retention releases are in line where your hand grips your weapon.

I love this holster! For me, it's just as quick as a level 1. The draw is very intuitive and easy to learn. I had the SSIII for a couple of years, and the Raptor Level III for a couple as well, and this is by far the best holster I have used.

I have had the uncle mike duty 2 and the safariland raptor holster but they don't compare to the easy and security i have found in the use of this holster. It is by far in my opinion that this is the best holster money can buy.
