| Description: | The Speed King. 550 lbs. 156 horsepower. 100 lb-feet of torque. 9.88 @ 144 mph in the 1/4 mile. Top speed 186 mph (factory limiter). |
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol are thinking outside the box. The motorcycle unit envisioned a high-speed interceptor when a Hayabusa was seized. The project worked out so well they purchased a second to ride pairs. While these bikes have been a PR dream, they aren't just for show. The OHP uses the bikes mostly for high-speed, .limited-access turnpike enforcement.
These bikes were made for speed. I own a Suzuki. It's nice to see some departments using these.
Lets see someone out run this badboy
Nice But Not As Fast In The Quarter Mile As GSX-R 1000 Or R1
This just looks stupid....... Sorry but I would never ride it, even if I was paid........ Just my opinion
I have a GSX-600R. I love all the GSXRS. No one will get away from this one. I'll ride it.
This motorcycle is very hot and fast!!
I used to own a Busa, and will own another when money permits. Awesome bikes for what they are. Comfortable (I'm 6'10", 350+lbs, rode it all day before), powerful, and reliable. They are also ALOT more agile than people give them credit for.
damn the should issue these out to all motorcycle cops
This si an excelent pice of machinery, fast and ajial, comfortable ride and the ability to carry other gear is unlimited. Not good during the winter or during rain but perfect for dry climat areas.
My Favorite!
not exactly my bike, but still a sweet ride!!
TIGHT!!!
I have a Suzuki GSXR 1000 and I love it. I ride motors for my department and would love to have something that handles that well for traffic details.
