I got one in the safe guys, come to Alaska & we'll go break it in properly! Mine is camo rather than the black stock but it is sweet! Doesn't group as well as my Super Match but isn't meant to either. For what it was designed to do it is sweet!

extremely accurate, althought the appearance has been mod the functionality and accuracy of this rifle has never change, infact it has improve, the rail is little bulky but you get use to it and it certainly is a great organizer for all your everyday accessories

I would love to be able to pull this baby out the trunk. It would help in any firefight, as good .308 rounds can punch through a car door, winshield, or felon with ease. Just wish it had a pistol grip for that little bit extra control.

It's a well functioning, accurate, and reliable tool. The versitility is the main selling point, My only gripe is the overabundance oc p-rails. I like the M1A-scout package a little more as a precision firearm, but on duty I'd rather have this than the AR15 next to the 870.

I bought one of these a few months back. Its a great gun, gives you plenty of options for close-quarters or long range. My only draw backs is its bulky, and not my number one for house clearing. If you have the cash buy the Springfield SOCOM Cluster Rails, And Barrel Assembly Only. The Build one from the ground up, there are great complete stocks out there with collapsible buttstocks on them. I love modifying my gear into military or more tactical, if you guys have questions on AR's or this feel free to ask.

This is the epitomy in the evolution of the long Springfield line going back to the M1A1. It is very durable, effective, and highly accurate. I cannot fathom any better weapon for use in a tactical situation to defend myself with. This is a rock solid rifle that demonstrates all the reliability and quality of the Springfield line.
