These cuffs are very durable, and easy to use. It takes a little whike to break them in, but once they loosen up they ratchet very easily.

Very smooth action once broken in, and the internal lock is much more accessible than other models.

I have two pair of the blue/black finish Peerless cuffs that I've carreid for years now. I like them much better than the S&W cuffs because of the location of the double locks. I had a pair of old school S&W cuffs but the lock lock mechanism actually wore out. Peerless has a tried and true product!

These cuffs are very durable, and easy to use. It takes a little whike to break them in. watch out thought they rust pretty easy.

I use these.. They are pretty good. Important to break them in first...Had a hard time with them at the academy when they were brand new. But I love em now...

These are my issue and I use them at least 30 times a day. They can be picked pretty easy and will break if the single edge of the cuff is able to be wedged between the double bar. The double locking device will unlatch if the the restraints are older (loose) when bumped together repeatedly. Then they can be opened with a shim on the ratchet. I prefer the S&W hinged.

Three rules of cuffing - 1) Get the cuffs on 2) Get the cuffs on, and 3) Get the cuffs on. And these make it as smooth and reliable as possible.
