I have carried one of these for years as an outdoorsman as well as being a home handyman. I also carry this fantastic tool on duty as LEO chaplain. It functions simply as well as being one of the heaviest and highest quality tools of its kind. It is made in USA so the blades stay super sharp as opposed to the stuff made in China that will not old an edge. I don’t use all of the tools, but they are always there if I ever need them. Highly recommended.
Had one. will not own another If you need reliability (and I do) buy a Leateherman product they ar superior by far
Absolutely the BEST tool of this type on the market. Stainless steel, heavy duty and dependable. The gear driven Compound Leverage mechanism essentially doubles the power of the tool and really lets you get a grip on things. I've tried other tools over the years, including Leatherman; but this is my absolute favorite. In my line of work, out on the water, along the shoreline, out in forests & conservation areas, in all kinds of weather, etc., tools like this get put to use regularly, usually in harsh circumstances and sometimes in extreme ways. The S60 always comes through for me and has never let me down. Well, except for that one time I lost it, and that wasn't SOG's fault, it was mine. In addition to work, I always have it on my belt when riding my motorcycle. As the old saying goes, I never leave home without it!
