| Description: | A great book on how a guy tackled crime head on. |
This book is great reading for any Law Enforcement Officer. It is very easy reading. It makes you feel like you are sitting at a bar with Rudy, and he is just s[pilling his guts to you. It has some really great ways to look at crime, and how to lead people in stressfull situations, or just how to be a great leader. He is truly a genious when it comes to crime.
A very interesting read.
Just read this based on previous reviews on this site. An easy to read and follow formula for successful leadership. Rudy uses examples from his life to illustrate the tennets of leadership that he is presenting. I found it to be insightful and interesting and would recommend it to LE Academy instrutors looking for some good training material.
I read the book a while ago, it is a great book in theory but I think some of the choices he has made and his relationship with Kerik take away from the message
An excellent book. This tells Rudy's story, while placing it the broader context of leadership principles he believes in. Everyone should read this before they vote in 2008.
He wasn't a good leader. He got things done but at the cost of honesty and integrity.
Very inspiring and an insight on leadership in tough times....
