This and every Gerber Knife deserves a 5 Star Rating. The quality craftsmanship and manufacturing that go into each Gerber Blade is unparalleled across the industry. Moreover Gerber Knives have been combat proven and tested by our countries elite forces time and time again. I have tried others and they did not hold an edge or a candle to the Gerber. I have carried a Gerber with me since it was recommended by senior operators when I was still a private in the Army. This Knife has never let me down, and I am sure you will enjoy the same quality experience I have had with Gerber Knives. Choose your tools wisely and Stay Safe!!!

You are correct. this is a great knife, perfect weight and can be used as a throwing knife, if you are good at those things. i have had it for a while now and i just love it

I have had this knife for about 9 years and I like it. It just feels sturdy and tough. It is double edged and both edges are extremely sharp for a dagger type knife. The only drawback is not with the knife itself but the plastic sheath. I used to wear mine attached to my boot while on duty and it tends to rattle when you walk. Other than that I am impressed with this knife.

This is perfect for knife combat techniques. It is just the right size to maintain control, cover with blocks and make under hand strikes without the danger of cutting yourself on the back hand swing. Great knife hands down.

I have always bought gerber. Haven't seen one of their products fail me. and you can't beat the blackened blade w/sheath. pretty sick to me.
