Description:

The SUB-2000 is a self-loading carbine for pistol cartridges. Different versions of the SUB-2000 will accept most modern handgun magazines. The SUB-2000 has a greatly extended range compared to a handgun. The superior precision is also very useful against small or partially covered targets at shorter range. The amount of training to master the SUB-2000 is only a fraction of that required for a handgun. The SUB RIFLE-2000 has been developed from the highly successful SUB 9 rifle. Although retaining some features of the old rifle, the SUB-2000 is a completely new design. Emphasis has been put on consumer safety, but without impeding the performance. Polymers are used to a large extent, resulting in increased durability and reduced price. The SUB-2000 is available in 9 mm Luger and .40 S&W as well as other common weapons, check the website for a complete listing (kel-tec.com).

This small Rifle is very versatile and can be employed for a wide array of uses. Mine stays within arms reach secured in my unit, to provide me with additional options and resources. The fact that this takes the same magazine as my duty and back up weapon and make it part of a complete weapons system. This rifle is stored in what I call a "GO BAG", that contains additional loaded magazines and bulk ammunition to include several specialty rounds like Tracers. The flexibility that this provides is unmeasurable, I have been delighted with its dependability and accuracy. There is also a line of quality accessories to from slings to scopes and laser products, this rifle can be adapted to fit your needs too. Don't get me wrong I still carry the larger rifles and a shotgun, I am simply saying that this little Gem has earned its place in modern Law Enforcement.

VERY NICE.....VERY ACCURATE! i love how it uses the same magazines as my GLOCK 22. nice gun for close areas (trailers and apartments) but can still reach out and touch ya if needed.

I was issued this weapons system from day one at my department. I went to the range and attempted to qualify with it, and gave it back to the firearms instructor immediately. The Sub 2000 shot 10 inches left of center at 25 yards and I had no interest in shooting any longer distances. I purchased my own AR-15 M4A3 and am much happier.

This thing is a POS. I would suggest getting a real gun, but that is just me. This is another show of how gunmakers are turning out more and more liberal-friendly weapons that are "consumer-friendly"(legal verbal vomit for "making it harder for assholes to sue us") and are also plummeting in quality and reliability.
