    Useful for searches where a steady, low glare light source is needed, i.e., cell searches, etc. A Stinger XT would be overwhelming in close and shiny painted confines, such as under bunks or looking through vents, along window frames, etc. The pushbutton is prone to accidentally being turned on, so care must be used when replacing it in the holster. Otherwise, an excellent and affordable option for the corrections or customs professional conducting searches in close quarters.

    Very bright and powerful light with the upgrade. Batteries last a lot longer than than most flashlight. The tailcap is easy to deploy. Great for searches in dark areas.

    Initially this is a great product for upgrading an existing maglite mini-mag. After about 9 months to a year, the LED module which replaces your bulb tends to break. These LED modules are very sensitive to abuse & shock. Overall, the performance of this combo is excellent (when working). It is a great idea for a backup light or the glove compartment spare.

    Not very impressed with this "upgrade". Found that is stopped working correctly after about 6 months.
