They grew up poor, and always struggling. After working mindless, low paying jobs he decided to do what many do: sign-up with the Chicago Police Department. The job opens his eyes to many personalities, working with the public and even corruption on the force. Bobby eventually focused on goign through law school and became one of the most elite criminal lawyers possesing both intellect and common sense. Yet he fell into Chicago corruption and the mob and paid for it: both in cash and almost with his life. But it was dying father's wish that turned it all around. I've had the chance to speak to Robert and he has become a good friend. He has answered many tough questions that I had asked him quite honestly.
His grandfather, CPD, was killed in the line of duty and Bobby was almost as well.
When I invited him here, he immediately joined to support the police memorial.
Robert Cooley is a proud Policelink member.
