This is an impressive light. It is truly blindingly bright, lightweight and hands-freeing. The ability to use it as a utility light and a weapon light and still have finger grasp with BOTH hands is great. It has many adjustments to fit big/ small hands, gloves/ no gloves, left/ right. Very intuitive momentary and constant-on controls as well as three brightness levels. The ST's strobe function is a great distraction tool, and can be used as a disorienting threshold evaluation light without telegraphing your position. It takes PRACTICE to get the aim right for the two-hand weapon grip. Practice lots of UNLOADED grip positions before trying it at the range. Like any tool, you have to train with it so it is reactionary.

It is light, tough, well-made, well-planned. It frees your hands, yet will also break away if grabbed by a suspect. At this price, though, you'll want it back! It is very expensive, but there's not much out there engineered like this. Downsides? If you're done with the gross motor stuff, and now want to use your fingers for close work, the light is on the OUTSIDE of your hands. If you hold a clipboard while you write information or a summons, the light doesn't shine on the paper without some contortionism or changing it from the grip that makes it unique. The website has some good videos and photos. The STORE button shows the different styles. Highly recommended.

When I went through some training down at PTI in Champaign Illinois they had 1 of these to look at... they're pretty cool. They're really handy looking. A guy from PTI in Champaign actually designed this product specifically for LE... like I said cool light works well, but I might wait to see if the price drops.

I used this product yesterday during a night shoot. I can simply say this is going to make all other tactical lights unneeded any more. This light does every thing you want a light to do and frees your hands to do the work you have to do. Transition from pistol to rifle and never change your light. Sling your rifle and go hands on, this light lets you without getting in the way or needing to be put in holster or pocket. Climb ladders with this light with no problem. I will spend the money and buy one. I feel that if you are a cop and you do not get one you are cheating yourself. This light could actually save your life.

I have also had the opportunity to test this product at PTI in Champagne. The hands free feature is nice as well as the adjustable setting for intensity. I just don't know if I'm ready to shell out $260 for it right now

I had the opportunity to purchase this light a few weeks ago and let the price tag talk me out of it. However, a track for a wanted wuspect witht eh dog pulling me through heavy underbrush changed my mind.

I dropped my flashlight twice during that track and luckily found it while the dog was still tracking. I made the call to my dealer and had one shipped out the next day. Just got it and I feel like it is the best thing since sliced bread. Not just a flash light but a K-9 Officers needed equipment.

The other day I got to see this light in person. Very nice well thought out. I can see where this light would be a must need for K-9 handlers. I am a K-9 handler myself and would love to own one but like most, $260.00 is pretty steep. This is a 5 star product but the price is a lot to swallow.

I am a K9 handler and need a few more hands, my agency got me one of these lights to T&E, its different and takes some getting used to but when you do. Its very nice for K9 handlers, I can hold the light and leash in the same hand to keep my gun hands free the LED is very conservative on battery's compared to my sure fire z3/z3's. I am using the one with the strobe and task light. Which by itself is enough for me to see my dog in the dark with out having a huge light signature to show my position. I like it my hands are large, and it fits fine. I even tried it at the range with 2 handed shooting and there is no real concerns there either. The light is kinda bulky on a patrol belt I wear it center of my back between my cuff pouches not uncomfortable, to wear for 10-12 hrs and drive around.

This product is awsome it not only allows you to have both hands free but it is confortable to wear through out your whole shift what an awsome flashlight. It also allows your to grip your pistol firmly without loss of dexterrity. I promote this this product to everyone i know.
