This really is the old Black Talon!

As a retired Paramedic, I hve had the occasion to see during autopsy the results of bullet versus bad guy. The SXT is everything it's cracked up to be leaving DEVASTATING wound channels and superior organ disruption.

(If your department won't let you carry the SXT, the Federal Hydroshok is ALMOST as good)

I carry this round but I have the actual "black talon" that i've had stockpiled for a couple years. Just to give you guys a laugh...winchester renamed the "black talon" after some racial controversy that some of ya'll may remember. It got the name "SXT"... Same X-act Thing...SXT.

this is what i have in my personal glock .40 cal

I hunt deer with the .357mag. version of the Black Talon. The first deer I took with it, the first deer I shot at, hit the liver from an over the shoulder shot. Dropped in 50yds. All its cracked up to be. One shot, One kill. It's ugly in what it does, which is exactly what a bullet is designed to do.

Great load. Just about the best you'll find on the market for the money.

Back in the day I manged to purchase a large quantity of the big brother to these the Winchester Black Talon, They are WONDERFUL, no feed problems, they are great in my wifes .380 and I had them in 9mm for my side arm.

After testing five different loads in my Kimber Custom the Winchester 230gr. SXT cycled flawlessly and grouped under 1" at 15yds offhand. Great product!!!!

This ammo has great penetration and expansion capabilities. It comes from the line of old school black talons and provides very good accuracy.

This is what we carry as duty ammo. Love the expansion
