Its easy to use with a phenomenal interface! There's alot of nice integrated features like you tube and mapquest (which links to your phone book so you can search for restaurants, businesses, etc which you can add to the phone book).

A few drawbacks - you can't text pix, you can text multiple peeps, limited apps for it.
I think that they are in the process of creating apps, games, etc.

I traded in my old Nextel for an IPhone. What a world of differnce. Great phone, great features, and easy to use. The mapping program is great, you can search and find anything with it. Call quality is fine, much better then my old Nextel, and I haven't had as many dropped calls. Highly recommended!!!!

I absolutely love this phone. I don't know how times that I have used this phone to take pics of wrecks or fires or just things that we as cops think are interesting. I am pretty sure I have convinced my beat partners to get one the next cell phone that they get!

The absolute best gadget / phone / anything I've ever bought. I just can't imagine life without it anymore. Everytime I'm forced to use even the most advanced "smart" phones I run right back to my iPhone. LOVE IT.

For the money it costs it should have a video camera feature, I should be able to blue tooth to another phone, and I should not have to buy a song and then pay again to have the same song changed to a ringtone.

Finally upgraded after 3 years with my old cell phone. I purchased a MacBook about ten months ago, after being a PC guy since 1986. The iPhone's features are very intuitive and work seamlessly with my MacBook. The iPhone is great for police work. Transferred all of my contacts from my old cell phone via bluetooth to my MacBook. I then synced everything with the iPhone. Only a few minutes of hassle-free work. The camera works great and is convenient for taking photos on the job. I opted for the 16MB for $100.00 more. The best feature is that I can see everything without my reading glasses.

I really love this phone. I like the iPod feature, cause before I got the iPhone, I was taking my mp3 player, my personal cell phone and my work phone to the gym. Now I dont have to worry about taking two phones and a mp3 player with me. Like someone said, the EDGE technology for the internet is a tad slow but if you ccan find a WiFi Hotspot, you can connect to the internet that way. There are two other drawbacks. 1: You cant send pictures in the form of a text message, you have to send it in an email and 2: You cant receive pictures or videos in a text message. Im sure that Apple and AT&T are working to fix that problem. I only hope that it will be a software update on iTunes and not something that those of us that already have an iPhone will have to pay some outragous amount of moneny to fix. All in all, a great phone, well worth the money.

The new phones come out July 11th and start at only $199. The package plans are still solely through AT&T, which is the one drawback for me. I like my current company and have absolutely no desire to switch. The new packages are slightly higher than the old plans, as well, but the new phones have more gigabytes and are supposed to have faster internet connections.

Good phone overall but there are shortcomings such as the Edge interenet connection is slow and can't send/receive photos in text messagaing.

i want one, maybe oneday i will change my mind and get it.
