If the C3 functions the same as my GSR 1911 Carry model, you will have a true "runner" on your hands. The pistol points and aims just like the classic 1911 due to the fact that the frame is identical in all aspects of manufacture to the shape and size of the original. My carry model takes full size magazines, although I do not use the supplied Sig mags (I exclusively use the Chip McCormick power mags). The size of mine is equivalent to the commander size of Colt days and shoots a tight group do to the fact that these pistols are assembled with a match grade barrel. Fit and finish is exceptional, I would not say that it is beautlful, but it is the most appealing pistol that I have owned. The stainless slide and controls on the nitron black frame really stand out against each other.

The 2007 LE purchase program through Sig was $799 for the individual price and $719 for the agency price. This included 2 mags and Novak night sights in the 2-tone as pictured above. Great buy.

This only reason I did not give this firearm a five star rating is because of the Novak night sights that come standard. They are small and do not have the white circle surronding them which makes them much harder to see in low iight situations. I have a sig P239 with I believe are Meprolight night sights and they are fantasitic. I plan to send my C3 back to Sig to replace the current Novak sights with there combat night sights. Once that is done the C3 will command a five star rating. Keeping it short, this is a great carry firearm. It ist very light but very .accurate.
