Although Nextel sucks for service this phone is awesome. It has been saturated by heavy rain after a tornado. After it dried out it worked just fine. It was then dropped in a lake. Thankfully in a shallow part. After a few days of drying out it works fine.

We have these for CID. The take a lot of abuse but keep working except when Nextel service is down.

The phone is durable... I have dropped, kicked , ect the one I had and it still worked. When there was a signal....

Nextel sucks for service, but the phone is awesome! I have dropped it, stepped on it, kicked it, thrown it, etc....and it has survived the punishment!

This phone has great capability and the power it has is great. The number pad has nice size numbers and very duarable as well. Memeory space is better than that of a 8mgb camera and quality of pictures is better as well.

GREAT PHONE. EVERYTHING YOU NEED WITHOUT ALL THE UNNECESSARY BELLS AND WHISTLES. EXTREMELY DURABLE. I'VE HAD MINE ALMOST FOUR YEARS.

All Motorola models seem to be reliable, and are a good value for the money. I upgraded from an i-815, mainly due to"plug" complications from the large 2 prong style.
