Oh lordy I hated these boots! I got them when I started with my department and had to go to academy. They ripped along the back ankle part where the nylon and leather met within the first two weeks of wearing them. When they were broken in they looked sloppy. They were light which was nice but you can get light boots from every company. Because I had such a bad experience with these boots I will probably never buy thorogood again. Try Bates or Danner, those companies make great boots.
