Adjustable shoulder and waist straps, a rip-stop outer shell and Comfort Cool™ inner wicking mesh assure a comfortable fit with freedom of movement for even the most strenuous duty. A satin-like carrier fabric allows the vest to slide easily under the uniform shirt, and front-loading panels eliminate uncomfortable closures, wrinkles and seams that rub against the body. NeoSoft™ Straps are plush, wide, and form-fitting to provide more load-bearing surface area, and can be repositioned at either anchor point.     Ok for one its not my favorite, but I wear it. Its very thick, so hopefully it'll stop something. Its very bulky, not lying here. Other officers say its real heavy, i've only worn this one and Second Chance(it being alot more comfortable and thinner, and lightweight). Matrix comes with a soft trauma plate that goes on your center chest. It can get extremely hot during summer months. The main thing that irratates me the most about this body armour is this is the way the bottom part of the front has rolled/folded on me. After wearing it for a year, there's a portion that is pushed out like a ridge. Its smooth, then has a lump line as I call it that goes at an angle across the armour. I looks like I have a tumer, lol. Anyway a lot of people at my agency hate this armour. Hope this helps

    Mine has not rolled as others have. Mine is also very thin and lightweight. Wear it everyday...would not be my first choice, but it is holding up alright.

    Well mine has also started to roll up in the front. The other thing I dont like is when you remove the panels to wash the carrier, they never seem to fit quite right when you put it in the spare carrier.It was very stiff and uncomfortable when I first started wearing it. It felt like two pieces of plywood wrapped around my body, but once it got broke in, it was better. I have replaced the soft trauma plate with an Impac ST. I like the fact that the carrier will support the larger trauma plate, too.

    I bought my Matrix Level IIIA vest about two months ago, and LOVE the way it fits, and feels, It is very comfortable to waar for 10.5 hours a day. My only complaint is that I would have prefered the openings to be accross the bottom like the older Zero-G models. I have both hard and soft trauma plates in the vest now, but I intend on getting the IMPAC-st soon.

    I really can't give too much insight into this body armor, it's better then the junk I was issued elsewhere but I can tell you the one I've been issued as of this moment is not for someone my size and stature. It is not very comfortable for me, Hopefully when I get one that fits I can update my opinion as I've heard others remark about how comfortably they fit, i hope it's true!

    I agree with most people. This vest is a little thinner than some others that are out there, but it is still very bulky. It is very hot during the summer! But, mine has not rolled yet though.... We will see as time goes on.

    This is the third brand of vest I have ever worn in my career, My biggest complaint about this vest is the straps, It has single straps on each side and they tend to roll up after a couple months of use, thus making the vest uncomfortable because of constantly having to adjust it and fix the straps during the shift from getting in and out of the car, and carrying out the duties of the job. If it wasn't for how the carrier was made, i may like this vest,
