I carried a 2 1/2 in, Model 66, with oversize grips for about 4 years back in the 80's. Extremely smooth action, excellent target groupings at the range, very reliable and concealable. I carried it while I was assigned as an investigator during those years, and still do on occasion just because I like it so much.
