It's well worth the money as is. Comand Arms sets a fair price for a rediculously ajustable buttstock... most don't offer a battery storage and charge twice as much w/ only a couple settings. But- Don't try to switch the storage compartment though because it will not fit together as it originally did. I tried this to add a sling mount to it and it was just a bad idea. The plastic picatinny rail bowed under the weight of the rifle leaving me no choice but to find another solution and that was: a quick disconnect swivel sling adapter -works great! Just don't buy a cheap one, spend the money on quality so it doesn't acidentally disengage sending your AR to your toes. I spent way too much on a good quick release but such is the way with anything on an AR.
