Description:

10% oleoresin capsicum foam has same effects as OC spray. Pros: 1)acts as a mask to temporarily disable inmate/suspect 2) does not become air borne like an aresol product 3) easier to control application. Cons: If the inmate/suspect has learned how to cope with the heat, they can wipe it off and fling it at the officer.

It doesn't become airborne as quickly as an aresol, easier to clean up. Fits in Use of Force Matrix after verbal and before taser. Otherwise, it is officer's choice to use spray vs. foam.

I don't have the foam, I like the aerosol.

I don't really like it on myself however. :)

I'd rather be tased than sprayed with this stuff!

I don't carry the foam, for one reason. I have seen it deployed, and it was not as succesful as the stream or fog. But it is good for in buildings with HVAC. But, why carry pepperspray if you have a Taser.
