I love this shotgun, it is the only shotgun that I will allow my officers to carry. It is a work horse. I highly recommend it.

no real fond of this shotgun. its just like the old s&w shotgun. they say they are chambered for 3" mags, but are not designed to shoot them. will destroy the safety.

Have the 590A Marinecote w/ collapsible stock and ghost ring sights. Also have the 870 with rifled sights. Both have extended magazine tubes... The Mossberg is lighter and has a more durable finish. But the 870 field strips and goes back together easier. Both are equal in terms of accuracy, but the 870 feeds rounds into the chamber with less effort.
