Excellent cuffs, have never had a problem and the only brand that I carry. User friendly compared to some other brands/models. Wouldn't change if you gave me another kind.

Mine simply broke... I went to use them and the latching mechanism, which looks like an L and is inside the cuff locking mechanism itself, broke right in half. I was shocked because the ratcheting mechanism was simply non-existent. The hook just swung back and forth like a grandfather clock on crack. So, I had to reach into my back pocket and pull out my Smith and Wesson cuffs in order to save embarrasment by asking my partner for his. I have never in my 15 years of law enforcement had this happen to me. My wife sent the broken cuffs to Peerless for repair but it will be a very long time before they find their way back into my duty pouch again.

I really enjoyed using these cuffs. I never had anything go wrong with them. I did switch over to a Winchester brand of cuffs because they were made a little stronger.

Favorite saying - They are new cuffs, keep pulling on them and they will stretch out a little.

These cuffs are much more suited for the average female offender. I like the fact that they lock on a lot smaller wrist than my Hiatt Hinge cuffs, which I use for the average male.
