I'VE HAD THIS VEST FOR 4 YEARS.... SO FAR IT HAS BEEN AN OVERALL COMFORTABLE PIECE OF MY EVERDAY CLOTHING..... ONLY DOWNFALL IS THAT THE STRAPS WEAR FASTER THAN THEY SHOULD

Too much trouble with the velcro curling up on the sides and not sticking, ended up having to use box tape on it to go to work.

Vest is comfortable for the most part. I do have some issues with the velcro straps rolling up under my shirt, which becomes quite annoying after a while. But it is light and breathes well, which is a big plus.

Not a bad vest. I have the gold. Could be more comfortable, but I guess they all could.

Thankfully, I have never had to rely on mine to save my life, but I sure am glad it's there.

Light weight but straps wear fast.

I've had this vest for 3 years now and I've had the same problem that KSP had. The straps keep curling up and they have lost their velcro-ability. I'll probably be replacing it in the near future. I also wish it was a little wider across the chest. My badge sits right at the corner of the vest and it makes the badge flip off to the side instead of straight forward. On the good side, it is pretty comfortable.

Lightweight, "comfortable", easy to wash, and long lasting. My vest was manufactured in '87 and is still in serviceable condition.

On the downside I must agree with everyone else, the velcro is annoying as anything. I only have to wear mine once a week and my velcro has been curling since about three months after I got brand new straps put on it from supply. A friend of mine actually had a strap pop off climbing back into the patrol vehicle.

Overall a great vest but there are probably better choices

Lightweight and comfortable but the straps and the velcro on them suck. It is no longer my first choice and I went with an Extreme after this vest but I do keep it as a back-up since it had some life left in it in case my new one needs cleaning or drying out after one of those days of standing in the rain for hours.

I have the level IIIA. The only problem i tend to have with it is hte straps like to come undone as you wear it if you bend a certain way. Other than that its fairly light and reasonably comfortable for a ballistic vest.

Great vest, I liked the fit of the vest, but many I know that had them, had problems with the fit, and styling.

Great vest. Only problem is the straps..unless you take the straps off when you wash it they curl up due to the heat Overall very comfortable to wear for a whole shift!

Had this vest for 5 years as issued body armor. Overall it is well made, as comfortable as body armor can be expected to be, and cleaned up pretty easily. Like everyone else I had issues with the straps/velcro. We were constantly having to order new carriers because the velcro would either wear out or the straps would seperate and lose the stretchability to keep the vest snug.

We switched over to ABA Xtreme vests last year and they are holding up a lot better.

Good Vest but I agree straps dont hold up at all. On my second set of straps and within two months they are back to curling up very annoying.
