Not the brightest light at 65 lumens, but it's definitely bright enough. It's a breeze to install and remove, with no tools required, and the strobe feature is very cool. Haven't had to use it on a suspect yet, but it seems like it would be effective.

LOVE BLACKHAWK PRODUCTS. I HAVE THIS LIGHT WITH THE LEVEL 3 SERPA HOLSTER. THE LED LIGHT IS EXTREMELY BRIGHT COMBINED WITH THE STROBE MODE THAT BLINDS THE SUSPECTS NOT FOUND IN ANY OTHER WEAPON MOUNTED LIGHT.

GREAT PRODUCT. COULD BE BRIGHTER, BUT IS STILL BRIGHTER THAN A LOT OF THE LIGHTS ON THE MARKET. STROBE FEATURE IS AWESOME!!! NEED TO PRACTICE WITH LIGHT BEFORE USE AS THE OPERATION IS DIFFERENT THAN MOST ON MARKET.

I like the LED light, the batteries last longer than standard bulbs and are shock resistant. The only downside is the switch. Under stress I tend to hit the switch too many times, turning the light off or onto "strobe". I also broke the switch on the first light I had. Would be better with a momentary switch like the Streamlight TLR-1.
