| Description: | Helter Skelter is a true crime book by Vincent Bugliosi and Curt Gentry. The subject of the book is the 1969 Manson Family murders and Bugliosi's own prosecution of Charles Manson and his followers. |
very good book...Helter Skelter was first published in the United States in 1974 and became a bestseller. The book takes its title from the song by The Beatles, with which Manson was obsessed. Manson used the phrase for an anticipated race war.
Oh, WOW! A blast from the past. This book also describes what happens when agencies don't share information.
Creepy to me. However, it's a good book and it tells the story well.
Excellent read!!!!!!!!!!!!
OLDIE but GOODIE....
When I was a rookie in 1984, an older detective suggested that I read this book. It showed many mistakes officers made at the crime scene and the detective said there was a lot of things a new officer could learn so as he/she would not make the same mistakes as those in the book made.
It was one of the books assigned to read...
