| Description: | You don't have to be a subway afficionado or even a fan of the New York City Police Department to enjoy this book. Everyone will get a kick out of the subterranean adventures of Officer Nehoc and his merry band of cops. These are the kind of stories that have "only in New York" stamped all over them. Read it and weep--with tears of laughter! Then tell all your friends to get their own copies because you'll want to read yours again and again. |
This book was written by my former X.O., a Captain when he retired, about the "good old days" in the NYC Transit Police Department before the "hostile takeover" by the NYPD in 1995. Stories from his days as a rookie on the subway, up the ranks to Lieutenant, in "the hole." An easy read, but a good one.
