    Excellent holster and fit my 1911A1 perfectly. 3-slot configuration gives multiple modes of carry. It has a reinforced thumb break and snaps easily. It also has an adjustable retention screw. Even for a full framed 1911, this holster keeps the weapon firmly and close to my hip which allows for easy concealment. Very well made leather holster, no snags or rough spots on the egdes and the finish (black) is spot less (so far).

    It's comfortable and the weapon ( SIG P228, ) fits and draws well. I like the security of the thumb-break. I removed the adjustable tension screw for now as the holster is new and I had a hard time holstering the weapon with the screw in. I like the 3 slot option for vertical or canted carry. I also like that I can carry it strong side or cross-draw. It's a versatile holster. It actually fits my Smith Sigma 40V but the top strap can be defeated by a determined bad guy as I can slide the 40V out of the holster with the thumb break still snapped, if I rock the weapon back and out from under the top strap. Do remember that the adjusting screw is currently not in the holster and the holster model I have is for the SIG and is not designed for the Sigma. I have ordered the Galco FLETCH for my Sigma and am awaiting it's arrival. I am happy with the COP 3 and would have bought one for my Sigma if Galco made one. Very pleased. It's a quality piece of cow.
