I agree all departments should have this in order to prevent the transfer of saliva unto police officers while handeling prisoner's.

Ya know, these woud be great for daycares too. I used to work in one & I think I could have avoided getting bit & other kids getting bit & sick if we had something like this. You couldn't pay me enough to go back there. Well, maybe if I could use these LOL

Great product only thing is if mthey don't get the idea and stop spitting then you have to change it out after so long because once it gets saturated they can still spit through it.

Great to have around when you have a spitter. Beware the arrestee can vomit and die while wearing it. Close observation is a must. Department training and close observation will decrease liability.
