Good firearm,Very accurate, easy to control during rapid fire drills,Cleaning is easy..The 9mm is a good round with the right ammo,I use Winchester Ranger 127gr.+P+ SXT..Another good round is the Speer Gold Dot 124gr.+P...But practice makes you good,so practice as much as your wallet will let you...

Excellent pistol. Can't ever go wrong with Glock. For the range I use full-metal jacket 115gr. and for protection and home I use hollow point 147gr. Low cost, effective ammunition. So easy to operate. Reccomend for beginners and advanced. This is my wife's favorite pistol of choice.

Easy to carry, accurate on the indoor range and outdoor range. Outdoor is better-Use your own targets and blow the shit out of them! GLOCK is the best handgun in the world, anyway. All the gunmakers are copying it because they know it's the best duty pistol.

The only issue I have with this gun, is that it is too light weight. In the military I always scored high with the heavier 45cal and 9mm Barreta. I have a problem holding this light weight gun steady.

I'm a huge fan of Glock. The 19 is great for learning and concealed carry. I prefer the higher caliber of the Glock 23 but in my oppinion, you can't go wrong with a Glock, no matter what caliber.

I have fired and owned many handguns of various sizes and calibers over the years, but the GLOCK 19 is on top of my list. The more you know about combat shooting, ballistics and shot placement, the 'little' 9x19 round becomes a very effective round. It's 'all' about shot placement!

I have an older Glock 19. It has over 10,000 rounds through it to date with zero malfunctions, the original barrel and still groups 2” at 50’. I also use it for my carry gun. As small as it is, it will print when wearing a Fobus holster. . However, it is lighter than my Kimber Pro Carry HD. I would recommend this to anyone for all uses.

I have a Glock 19, I like shooting it. It hits the mark everytime, but when I use it I always compare it to my favorite weapon. I know it's not fair, but we all have our favorites. I took stars off because I don't like the way it shoots the casing straight up. What goes up must come down, on my head. I also took stars off due to it being a little tricky to take apart.

Nearly 15 years of use and abuse and this weapon is still as reliable as the day I took out of the box. Requires minimal attention and care to maintain, some wear on finish from holster, but nothing that affect its service life. Tritium nightsights a huge plus.
Only repair needed since I received this firearm was an adjustment to the after market front nightsight. This is an ideal On / Off Duty service weapon.

I just bought one of these. I pick it up next Wednesday. After reading all the reviews, I am really excited to start using it. I have used a Ruger P345 (.45 cal) for several years and I love it. But the Glock 19 seemed a little easier to handle. Unfortunately, I never got to fire it before purchasing, so I was worried. After reading what you all have to say, I am sure I will be very happy with my purchase.

Bought my first Glock about 18 years ago without even shooting it first. Pulled the trigger once and fell in love. I have reworked the trigger (to lighten it up) as well as a heavier recoil spring (for faster second shot). I also had a larger guide rod milled from aluminum for a tighter/smoother action. What once was the perferct weapon got even sweeter.

Although I am not yet a Police Officer, I will be in the near future and have shot the Glock 19 on numerous occasions. What the Glock 19 brings that I really like is its small size and light weight. Although the magazine has its limits, the pure accuracy of this weapon when used right allows you to hit your target with pin point accuracy without having to go through a whole clip.
